CULTURAL MARKERS

- Every individual has something significant about their cultural beliefs  that shapes them to become then person that they are today,While some are evident within each culture due to the religious aspect, Whilst others adapt to it in the latter stages of their lives. Cultural effects have different effects at different stages of a persons life, For instance some may adapt a certain cultural/religious view when they are older due to many reasons; One of them being towards individuals  that never got the chance to live in their homeland which led them to experience other cultural beliefs rather than his own.

- As i was born in Canada i wouldn't really consider my culture to be linked with the Canadian culture belief, Since both of my parents are originally from Palestine; I will be discussing one certain aspect from my culture that is misunderstood through out the world or even through media perspective. Throughout many personal experiences that i have seen and heard people go through. Which is the idea people have on how similar the "Jordanian vs Palestine culture collides" Due to many people saying that they are practically  identical and that they are the same thing. The aim of this blog post will be discussing how the two cultures may share common ground in many aspects like food and rituals however there are many things that distinguish and present the uniqueness of the two cultures, The writing will be based around the differences they share and why it is important to understand how the two cultures differentiate.

- Palestine and Jordan are known to be quite close in many aspects, One of them is culturally as well as geographically as they are an hour drive away from each other.. Let's paint a clearer picture so the idea can really be cemented on how close the two countries are, To drive from Jordan to Palestine is equivalent to the time that it would take to drive from Abu Dhabi to Dubai.  Now since the two countries are fairly close it would be a smart guess to assume that they share the same cultures however they are things that are different.

-The difference between the cultural aspects is the historical view on the two countries. On the one hand Palestinians have a historical back ground of farming and are known to build the civilisation on it. Whilst the Jordanian historical view were built on tribes and formed a "Bedouin" Civilisation to live off.  The second cultural difference is the food, Generally all Middle East countries intact share many different foods, But every country has their own specific national food.. Palestinian have a famous dish "Musakhan" and The famous Jordanian dish of "Mansaf" And lastly the one thing is the significance between the two countries is the symbolic gestures. Palestine is known for the growing and use of Olive Trees.

-Any Palestine or Jordanian will be the first to admit that it can be confusing to show the difference as they have very similar approach due to the fact that Jordan and Palestine were intact once the vert same country. So it's obvious that they adopted some methods from one another.
